Shelby Miller of the Los Angeles Dodgers recorded his first save in 12 years of major league debut. Miller, who is aiming for a comeback with the Dodgers this year, is becoming a ‘reliable man’ in the Dodgers bullpen, which has a collective finishing system.

The Los Angeles Dodgers 먹튀검증won the match against the Pittsburgh Pirates by one point, 9-8, at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on the 26th (Korean time).

It was not an easy game. Against Pittsburgh, which had recently been on a seven-game winning streak, they trailed 2-7 until the middle of the game, but won a come-from-behind victory.

The Dodgers caught up with one run in the 5th inning with a timely hit by Freddie Freeman with 2nd out and 3rd base, and in the 6th inning, with 1 out and 1st and 2nd base, the Dodgers followed up by 7-4 with a timely hit by Michael Bush. Afterwards, Chris Taylor’s hit with one run loaded the bases, and Austin Barnes’ sacrifice fly to make it 7-5.

And in the 8th inning, with 1 out and 1st and 2nd base, Taylor hit a three-run home run that went over the left-middle wall and turned the Dodgers up to 8-7.

The Dodgers were sluggish with starter Noah Syndergaard allowing 7 runs on 9 hits in 4 innings. However, the bullpen teamed up with 5 scoreless innings to lay the foundation for a comeback. Victor Gonzalez (1 inning) in the 5th, Evan Phillips (1 inning) in the 6th, Yancy Almonte (1 inning) in the 7th, and Caleb Ferguson (1 inning) in the 8th in turn relayed no runs

In the ninth inning, one point ahead, Miller climbed the mound. Before the game, Miller had started 9 games with a relief pitch and was recording 2 runs in 10 innings. It was Miller’s first closing appearance on the day.

Miller grounded lead hitter Santana and grounded Jack Swinsky to second baseman. After two outs, Conor Joe struck out with a 93.9-mile fastball, securing the victory by one point. With 12 balls, he finished the game neatly with a three-way exit in one inning. 

Miller, who made his major league debut with St. Louis in 2012, recorded the first save of his career. After stints in St. Louis, Atlanta, Arizona, Texas and San Francisco, Miller, who wore a Dodgers uniform this year, experienced his first save in 177 big league games.

He plays out of the bullpen all season and is doing well with 1 win, 1 save and 1.64 earned run average in 10 games (11 innings).
