Yoon Sang-pil (pictured) has secured the Asian Tour seed.

In the final 5th round of the 2023 Asian Tour Qualifying (Q) School held at the Lake View Resort & Golf Club (par 71) in Hua Hin, Thailand on the 22nd, Yoon Sang-pil scored 7 under par and took 6th place (16 under par 339 strokes). This is the best score among Korean players. 77 players participated in the final round of the Asian Tour Q School, and the top 35 will be seeded. 스포츠토토

Yoon Sang-pil swept 8 birdies (1 bogey). He cut 2 strokes with 3 birdies and 1 bogey in the first half, and fished out 5 birdies on holes 10, 12, 13, 15 and 18 in the second half. Yoon Sang-pil made his debut on the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Korean Tour last year and did not achieve any results. His personal best result is a tie for 8th place in the Honors K · Solago CC Hanjang Award Invitational, and the prize money ranking is 89th (49.895 million won).

South Korea: Cho Min-kyu 7th (16 under par 339), Jeong Han-mil 8th (14 under par 341), Kim Min-hui 10th (13 under par 342), Eom Jae-woong 14th (12 under par 343), Lee Seung-taek 28th, Bae Yong-joon 31st (9 under par 346 strokes) and others won the seed.

Thanks to the size of the Asian Tour in partnership with LIV Golf, 42 Korean players applied for the Q School. This year’s Asian Tour will start the race with the PIF Saudi International (total prize money of 5 million dollars) at the Royal Greens & Golf Club in Saudi Arabia on February 3rd.
